JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) proudly participated in the prestigious Paris Peace Forum 2023, marking the 6th edition of this international gathering held at the historic Palais Brongniart in the heart of Paris, France, from November 10th to 11th, 2023.
Mr. Moynuddin Khan, Treasurer of JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France, attends as one of the esteemed delegates at Paris Peace Forum 2023. JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) emphasized the importance of facilitating dialogue, creating action-oriented coalitions, and defining norms to provide efficient responses to the pressing challenges of our time.
The 2023 Paris Peace Forum brought together representatives from various sectors, including states, international organizations, businesses, development banks, foundations, and NGOs from across the globe. This diverse assembly aimed to foster collaborative efforts in developing solutions to some of the world's most urgent challenges.
The program for the 6th edition of the forum featured more than 80 sessions with speakers hailing from governments, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, philanthropy, and academia. These sessions were geared towards forging common solutions to address the world's most pressing issues.
A special highlight of this year's Paris Peace Forum was the "Space for Solutions" showcase, which featured 60 projects and initiatives dedicated to addressing critical global governance issues. Each project and initiative was provided a dedicated space within the event venue, offering them the opportunity to present their work and share their insights on their respective areas of focus.
The 2023 Paris Peace Forum exemplified the significance of global cooperation and collaboration in tackling the complex challenges facing our world today. It served as a platform for diverse voices and ideas to come together, fostering the hope of a more peaceful and prosperous future.
